Disconnect the negative battery
terminal to prevent an accidental
short circuit.

Open ash tray and unsnap and
remove outside trim panels.
(Figure A)
Tip: Start at the bottom of the trim
panels.

Remove (8) Phillips screw from the
radio trim panel. Disconnect any
plugs from the trim panel and then
remove panel. (Figure B)

Remove (4) Phillips screw from radio
to remove radio. (Figure C)
Cut along the scored lines of the
radio housing’s mounting tabs.

Disconnect the negative battery
terminal to prevent an accidental
short circuit.

Using a flat blade screwdriver as a
pry tool, unsnap and remove the
center dash panel including the cli-
mate controls and vents from around
the radio. (Figure A)

Remove (4) phillips screws to

remove radio. (Figure B)

DIN HEA D UNIT P ROVISION
A
Slide the DIN cage into the Radio
Housing and secure by bending the
1
metal locking tabs down. (Figure A)
Slide the aftermarket head unit into
the cage and secure.

Snap the Trim plate into the Radio Housing.

ISO DIN HEA D UNIT P ROVISION
A
Mount the ISO Brackets to the head
unit with the screws supplied with
1
the unit.
Slide the head unit into the radio
opening until the side clips
2
engage. (Figure A)
Snap the Trim plate into the Radio
Housing.

Strip wire ends back 1/2"
Twist ends together

Tape
Locate the factory wiring harness in the

dash. Metra recommends using the proper
mating adapter and making the connections
as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off
the ends of any unused wires to prevent
electrical short circuit)

Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test
the unit for proper operation.
Reassemble in reverse order of disassembly.
